Nick and Shanda are high school sweethearts that have been married for over 20 years. Together they live near Dallas, TX with their four children; Jackson, Katelynn, Megan, and Lauren.

Nick was diagnosed with ALS on September 8, 2020. As a Marine Corps. veteran we were shocked to learn that veterans are twice as likely to be diagnosed with ALS. Although Nick qualified for 100% disability with the VA, the opportunity for further advocacy and service seemed to emerge.

Our Mission
Our mission is to advocate, love, and serve all patients with ALS (pALS), their families, and caretaker team. Today, we seek to build an inventory of medical equipment that will improve quality of life. Tomorrow, we seek collaborative partnerships to create the first ALS Center of Innovation in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex.
